I had the great pleasure of working with Ruth on the audiobook version of my story Musings of the Stars – Voyage into the Unknown. It’s a philosophical sci-fi tale, about 10,700 words in length, aimed at both children and adults.
From the very beginning, Ruth brought so much care, energy, and personality into the project. I feel lucky that she responded to my initial narrator search and even luckier that I chose her out of over 40 other applicants.

Working with Ruth was one of the most enjoyable and creatively fulfilling experiences I’ve had in a long time.
Her performances often made me smile or even laugh out loud with delight, simply because they were so wonderfully done and full of character.
I had many small suggestions and new ideas along the way, and although I sometimes felt guilty for being "that guy" with constant feedback, Ruth handled it all with a professional, open, and kind attitude.
She was incredibly fast, responsive, and flexible. Her voice acting gave life to every character, often in ways I hadn’t even imagined when I wrote them. Her creativity and instincts were spot on, and it really felt like we were building something together, not just executing a script.

I wanted the process to be relaxed, honest, and friendly. And that’s exactly what I got.
In fact, now that the project is finished, I honestly miss the daily exchange and those little audio "gifts" arriving in my inbox.
I truly hope we’ll stay in touch. Whether for future projects or simply as friends.
