The Prince Who Forgot Me

I just finished up The Prince Who Forgot Me, and what a wonderful experience it was!

This romantic fantasy was such a fun project to work on. I absolutely loved the premise of the book and found myself laughing so many times while narrating it. I was also incredibly lucky to work with the author, Masha Solo, who was wonderful to work with from beginning to end. She was understanding, patient, and incredibly flexible throughout the entire project.

I really tried to complete about one chapter a day, which ended up being a great pace for me. This audiobook was also a new challenge for me because it was the first time I was working on an audiobook while simultaneously working a part-time job. Finding the right balance between the two wasn't always easy. There were plenty of long days when I would come home from work and know that I needed to give myself time to rest before jumping into narration. I often used my days off and weekends to focus on the audiobook, so learning how to balance work, recording, and everything else was definitely an art in itself!

Even though the project took me a little over two months to complete, I was able to finish ahead of the deadline, which was such a great feeling.

Of course, one of the biggest reasons I enjoyed this project so much was getting to bring these characters to life. I thought they were really well written, and when the material is strong and the characters feel fully developed, it makes my job as a narrator that much easier. I could really sink into the story and have fun with all of the different characters and personalities.

And now I have to say it: I can't believe this is my eighth audiobook!

When I started my voice acting journey, I dreamed about getting to this point, and it's pretty amazing to look back and realize just how many stories I've had the opportunity to bring to life.

I'm so grateful that I got to be a part of The Prince Who Forgot Me, and I'm especially grateful to Masha for trusting me with her story. I truly hope I get the opportunity to work with her again in the future.

Here's to audiobook number eight—and hopefully many, many more to come! 🎙️📚✨
