Update - I got a survival job!

First things first, I'm sorry it's been so long since my last blog post.

Life has been busy, and like so many artists and creatives these days, I recently took on a survival job. In today's economy, having a steady source of income isn't just helpful, it's necessary. While voice acting, narration, and creative work remain my passion, bills still need to be paid, and sometimes the smartest thing you can do for your dream is make sure you're able to keep pursuing it.

Do I hope to be a full-time voice actor one day? Absolutely.

That's still the goal.

But I've learned that having a survival job doesn't mean you've given up on your dream. If anything, it gives you the stability to keep chasing it. Every shift worked, every paycheck earned, and every responsibility handled helps create the foundation that allows me to continue building my voice acting career.

The exciting news is that even while balancing work, my creative journey has continued to grow.

One of the biggest highlights has been my new opportunity with Dramawave. It's been exciting to be involved with a platform that's creating new opportunities for storytellers and voice talent.

Another milestone I'm incredibly proud of is that my original song, The One Who Stays, is now available across multiple platforms. Seeing it accepted on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Music, iTunes, and Spotify was a surreal moment. What started as an idea became something real that people can actually listen to and connect with.

I've also started sharing more samples of my work on Instagram. For a long time I hesitated to put myself out there, but I've decided to embrace the process and let people see what I've been working on. The response has been wonderful. My following has grown by more than 100 people recently, and while that may not seem huge to some, every single person who chooses to follow my journey means the world to me.

I'm also loving my studio upgrade. Having equipment that allows me to create better quality recordings has made such a difference. Every time I step into my booth, I'm reminded of how far I've come and how much I still want to achieve.

Most importantly, I'm grateful for the support system around me. My family and friends have been incredibly encouraging throughout this journey. Whether it's celebrating the wins, listening to new samples, sharing my content, or simply reminding me to keep going, their support means more than I can express.

So while life may have pulled me away from blogging for a bit, I've still been working, creating, learning, and growing.
