🎙Studio Update

I’ve recently upgraded my recording setup with a few pieces of gear that have made a noticeable difference in both clarity and consistency.

After a lot of testing and comparing, I landed on the RØDE NT1 Signature Series microphone, paired with the SSL2 audio interface. The NT1 offers a clean, brighter tone that captures the natural texture of my voice without adding harshness or plosives — something I struggled with in earlier setups. The SSL2 has also been a solid addition, giving me reliable, professional-grade preamps and a simple workflow.

These upgrades aren’t about chasing perfection — they’re about delivering clean, polished audio with fewer technical headaches, so I can focus on performance. Whether I’m narrating long-form audiobooks or voicing short commercial spots, the goal is always the same: high-quality, emotionally honest work.

Thanks for following along,

— Ruthie
